Your aperitif in music
The Voce in Jazz Festival is back, a series of appointments in which the great classics of Italian and international popular music are reinterpreted in a jazz key, with the direction of the italian singer Merifiore.
Each musical appointment will be followed by an elegant aperitif where you can enjoy a drink (choose between a glass of sparkling wine or a non-alcoholic cocktail), 3 gourmet appetizers and a risotto.

Andrea Mellace e Federico Calcagno (vibraphone and clarinet)
Repertoire: jazz, original compositions
The vibraphone/clarinet duo has a long and rich history, starting with the amazing clarinetist Benny Goodman’s jazz band, in which the vibraphonist Lionel Hampton was never absent. Andrea Mellace on the vibraphone and Federico Calcagno on the clarinets will offer for ‘Voce in Jazz’ a repertoire ranging from great jazz classics to some of their original compositions which enhance the timbre of the two instruments.

Katy Desario & Totò Arca (voice and piano)
Repertoire: pop jazz, international soul jazz
Samsara Duo is an acoustic duo formed by great musicians: Katy Desario on vocals and Totò Arca on piano. The duo has extensive experience in performance and entertainment especially in exclusive events. The repertoire of the evening will be dedicated to international music, ranging from the great classics famous all over the world, to the current songs, masterfully interpreted and revisited.

The ‘Elisabetta Guido Trio’ is a jazz and latin jazz trio born from the partnership between the Lecce vocalist and songwriter Elisabetta Guido and the two Milanese musicians Mirko Fait (sax) and Andrea Rotoli (guitar). Together they perform a repertoire that ranges from the great jazz and latin jazz classics (D. Ellington to C. Porter, C. Parker, M. Davis, D. Gillespie, A.C. Jobim) to a refined selection of some modern jazz compositions (C. Monk, C. Korea), adding some original compositions by Guido and Fait. In fact, the trio’s latest album ‘Arabesque’ was released on May 2022 by AlfaMusic and had its national premiere in Rome at the Alexanderplatz Jazz Club and in Milan at the Teatro Puccini.
